The Clinical Research Of Yiqi Yangyin Decotion To Thyroid Postoperative Fatigue Syndrome

ObjectiveThis study in order to assess the situation of thyroid postoperative fatigue and observe if Yiqi Yangyin decotion is effective to thyroid postoperative fatigue syndrome through randomized controlled trails,to provide practical and effective treatment experience for this disease and provide the basis for this decotion for further clinical promotion and application.MethodsThe study has collected 60 thyroid operation cases in general department in the first affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from 2019.04 to 2020.01.According to inclusion criteria,divided the cases into controlled group and experimental group randomly,with 30 cases for each group.For experimental group,Yiqi Yangyin decotion 1 dose once daily orally given to patients from postoperation day 1 to day day 14.Visual analog scale(VAS)and perioperative fatigue evaluation table(ICFS-10)were used to respectively measure the score of 60 patients at the same time in preoperation day 1,postoperation day 1,3,5,7,14,meanwhile do the blood test included WBC,RBC,HBG,STP,ALB,TSH,FT3,FT4 when preoperation and one month postoperation.Postoperative indicators of two groups were compared and observe the clinical effectiveness of Yiqi Yangyin decotionResult1.Postoperative fatigue syndrome may occur in thyroid patients after surgery.The VAS and ICFS-10 scores reached the highest level on postopeartion day 1,then gradually decline,the scores may fall back to preoperative level until postoperation day 14.2.There was no statistical difference in VAS score between two groups after surgery(P>0.05).3.There was no statistical difference in ICFS-10 score between two groups on the first day and third day after surgery(P>0.05).The ICFS-10 score of the experimental group was significantly lower than the controlled group on the fifth and seventh day after surgery,with statistical significance(P<0.05)4.There was no statistical difference in the level of RBC,HGB,STP,ALB,HST,FT3,FT4 between two groups before surgery and one month after surgery(P>0.05).But there was statistical difference in WBC(P<0.05)ConclusionThe patients who did thyroid surgery had different level of fatigue syndrome.And the highest level was in the first day postoperation,it was gradually decline after.Through two groups of patients with ICFS-10 evaluation,Yiqi Yangyin decotion can effectively relieve the fatigue degree on 5th day and 7th day on the patients who did thyroid surgery,also improve postoperative WBC level and regulate body immunity,but no obvious effect on body’s nutrition situation and thyroid function.According to the results,Yiqi Yangyin decotion can improve the fatigue syndrome among the thyroid patients after surgery.
