Orthodontic Treatment Of Anterior Teeth Loss In Patients With Malocclusion

Objective:Combining the concept of function,health and aesthetics,this paper discusses the design points of comprehensive oral treatment for patients with malocclusion and anterior teeth loss,and makes full use of the characteristics and advantages of orthodontic treatment to provide the best oral clinical therapeutic effect for such patients Methods:A total of 22 cases of anterior tooth loss are selected,in which 6 males and 16 females are included.Ages of them range from 11 to 40,with an average age of 18.3.10 of them are Angle Class Ⅰ malocclusion and 8 are Class Ⅱ,and the other 4 were Angle Class III malocclusion.The malocclusion characteristics and the missing parts of the anterior teeth are analyzed.The design and clinical treatment points of the orthodontic treatment are retrospectively studied.Results:Of the 22 patients,11 were designed for tooth extraction and 11 for non-extraction treatment.Of the 11 patients who underwent tooth extraction,the two maxillary premolar teeth were extracted in 6 cases,the first upper left first molar in 1 case,the third lower quadriceps premolar in 3 cases and the lower left lower case in 1 case.Of the 11 patients who did not receive tooth extraction,6 cases of dental arch repair combined with oral repair were performed in the latter part of the period.3 cases were treated with missing lower incisor for compensatory skeletal Ⅲ malocclusion and 1 case of orthodontic tooth replacement.Period of correction.Conclusions:For malocclusion with anterior teeth loss in patients with oral clinical treatment program design,orthodontic physicians according to the specific circumstances of different patients,from the functional,health and aesthetic aspects of the three considerations,take full advantage of the characteristics and advantages of orthodontic treatment,For such patients to obtain the best oral clinical treatment provided the conditions and protection.
