Research And Setting Of Microcomputer Protection Equipment For Traction Transformer Of High-speed Railway

The traction transformer of high-speed railway is an important electrical equipment in the traction power supply system of high-speed railway.Its safe operation is related to the transportation order of high-speed railway.Due to the frequent starts of the EMU and the adoption of the single-phase power supply mode,the traction transformer is subjected to unbalanced traction load for a long time.With the development of integrated automation for the traction substation,the requirements for the rapidity and reliability of the traction transformer protection are becoming more and more stringent.Therefore,the development of the new traction transformer protection equipment and its performance improvement will have very important application value.On the basis of analyzing the basic principles and characteristics of differential protection of the traction transformer in high-speed electrified railways and the main wiring of the traction substation,the main protection mode and the characteristics of differential protection wiring of the traction transformer are reviewed.The principles of the differential protection in the microcomputer protection equipment and the starting criterions of the main protection in the protection equipment are expounded.The correlation processing algorithms for improving the accuracy of each measurement value are given.The performance and characteristics of the DSP chip of the traction transformer’s microcomputer protection equipment are deeply studied.The AT89C55 SCM(Single Chip Microcomputer)and TMS320VC5416 DSP chip are used as the main dual CPU structure to form the traction transformer’s microcomputer protection hardware equipment.The protection and measurement algorithms are designed.The hardware functional modules are divided,some hardware circuits and the main functional modules of the software system are designed.The field tests and debugging for the traction substation in Baolan Passenger Dedicated Line prove that the technical performance of the protection equipment has reached the design standards and requirements,laying a good foundation for ensuring the safe and normal operation of the whole line of Baolan Passenger Dedicated Line.
