Analysis And Optimization Of Construction Process Of Very Large Containership

The international shipping market demand currently remains low,and the shipbuilding industry is still in grim situation.The relevant enterprises have took measures to increase efficiency by shorten the shipbuilding cycle,reduce consumption costs and speed up cash flow to enhance the resilience of the contrarian.Optimizing the process control and shortening the shipbuilding cycle become the major concern of enterprises worldwide.In this dissertation,we proceeded the study based on the manufacture of our shipyard’s ultra-large container ship.It firstly introduced the related theories including models of modern shipbuilding,analysis of Shipbuilding Value in LP(lean production),pull system,balanced and rhythmic production,JIT production and Built-in Quality,accuracy control of shipbuilding.Based on these theories,the dissertation first shows and analyzes the main construction process of ultra-large container ship construction by charts This study also introduced and analyzed the main process control methods for ultra-large container ship construction,and the existing main problems of these current methods need to be improved;this study further discussed the optimization measures for production process control of very large container ship construction: i)establishing a production system oriented to the "finished product of intermediate products";ii)establishing a planning system for shipbuilding;iii)the continuous optimization of the shipbuilding workmanship;iv)to establish standard with a plan and pull system;v)the accuracy management system for ultra-large container ship construction.In the process of building 10,000 TEU in the China Shipping Industry(Jiangsu)Co.,Ltd.,the research result was confirmed that the construction process optimization plan achieved the ultimate goal of shortening the construction period of ultra-large container ship.
