In 2015,another round of reform of the electric power system launched in China,with the reform of the power sale side being the core and also the top priority.The state clearly defined the participation of social capital and power companies in the reform of the power sales side,and introduced a simple registration system.This reform conveyed the signal that “the power sales market has liberalized its efforts and wants more participants”.The liberalization of the power-selling business has made the power market more diversified.Under this background,in accordance with the requirements of the “Company Law”,the company must implement laws and regulations,and must bravely assume social responsibilities.The power sales company should perform its due social responsibilities at the same time as the power sales operations.At present,there are relatively mature studies on the formation and operation of power sales companies in the society.However,the content,mode,and purpose of power sales companies fulfilling their social responsibilities are still in a relatively ambiguous state.Research in this area is in a blank state.Therefore,it is imperative that the research on the issue of social responsibility that power sales companies should undertake.This thesis focuses on the systematic analysis of Shenzhen’s power sales company performing its social responsibilities.The first part describes the corporate social responsibility research status and fulfillment by domestic and international scholars in the theoretical circle and defines the concept of social responsibility.Companies’ active performance of their social responsibilities shall attribute to the government’s standardization of and incentives for social responsibility public policies.The companies carry out relevant social responsibility activities in accordance with laws,regulations and ethical standards issued by the government.Guaranteeing the safety of the people’s living environment while ensuring the profitability is a necessary reflection of the responsibility performance by the companies,and also an overwhelming conclusion in the new era.The second part of the thesis analyzes the current status of the fulfillment of social responsibility by the Chinese companies,points out and analysis the existing problems.Finally,under the guidance of the corporate social responsibility theory,this thesis analyzes the current and operating characteristics of the Shenzhen power sales company,and assesses the social responsibility management of the Shenzhen power sales company in order to identify problems and provide solutions and suggestions.In the social responsibility research,most scholars hold the idea that company’s performance will bring profits to the enterprise,and company’s reputation can be enhanced as long as it takes social responsibility.They may further incorporate company’s fulfillment of social responsibility into the company management.This thesis proposes that the fulfillment of social responsibility is not only a corporate behavior,but also involving government public policy as the guidance,supervision and incentive.When practicing the social responsibility,in addition to its own responsibilities,a company shall also make full use of the driving power of the government and society.Under the public policy of social responsibility with supervision and evaluation,the fulfillment of company social responsibility is with more realistic meaning,which helps in the transformation of China’s economy from high speed growth to quality development.
