Many cities have seen growing number and scale of metro lines due to rapid development of urban metro business in recent years,new metro lines are being built and put into operation every now and then.In big cities,urban metro network is being formed or already scaling,which comes with joints between lines,allowing passengers to choose routes among multiple options.The delivery of a new metro line has influences to various aspects of the existing metro network,including passenger route selection,passenger flow of existing lines,passenger flow of intersection,filling rate.Etc.While most studies concern with passenger flow prediction of a new line during it was being designed and built,studies on other aspects such as aforementioned aspects are relatively insufficient.Referencing research of domestic and foreign existing projects,combining status of fresh built metro line’s integration into existing metro network of domestic big cities,analyzes and studies of passenger flow and relevant characteristics of the metro network after new line’s integration in expectation to better satisfy passenger’s need after the alteration of city metro network,and utilize the capability of city metro network.In order to avoid the impact of the opening of new lines as much as possible,the paper firstly analyzes the actual passenger flow by excluding the new lines and increases the passenger flow,and predicts the net by using the improved time series method Natural growth of passenger flow;thermal map in the form of analysis of station geographical relationship with the station traffic,determine the new line opening passenger flow induced by factors such as station location,transfer station number,population factors and line extension length,based on the new Line Attract Passenger Flow Construct Passenger Flow Additive Regression Model.Secondly,the new line is divided according to different sections,the distribution of OD of new line TOD segment / old city segment is analyzed,and the distribution characteristics of newline passenger stations are analyzed.Then,taking into account the congestion will extend travel time,extended waiting time and other factors,the introduction of full load index,the establishment of a comprehensive impedance function,optimize the passenger flow distribution model.Finally,using the macro VISUM software of traffic planning combined with the integrated impedance function,this paper simulates the redistribution of passenger flow when the new Shanghai Metro is opened and obtains the new OD matrix of passenger flow,analyzes the change of passenger flow characteristics,and introduces the cross-sectional passenger flow ratio indicator to determine the existing network line Section of the extent of impact,with full load indicators on the new line after the opening of the existing lines optimize the passenger line organization,operating plan to make recommendations.
