A Research On Work Value Structure Of Civil Aviation Pilots

With continuous increase of air traffic,reducing flight accidents and improving safety management of civil aviation has become continuous pursuit of civil aviation industry.Civil aviation pilots are responsible for the special mission of flights safety,mastering the final gateway of civil aviation transportation safety,and their behaviors directly impact on flight safety.Civil aviation pilots’ behaviors are an important reflection of their work value judgement,and establishment of the “safety first” core value plays an important role in flight safety.Therefore,further studying the management theory and method of pilots’ work value,has an important practical significance to reduction of the human factor risk and continual improvement of civil aviation safety level and quality.In this paper,document retrieval,focus interview and questionnaire survey were used to clarify the dimensional structure of work values of civil aviation pilots in China.Basis on current research situation,civil aviation pilots’ work value elements were extracted.And according to the principle of questionnaire design,civil aviation pilots’ work value questionnaire was compiled.Through item analysis,reliability and validity tests to verify the questionnaire is sound and scientific,and the designed questionnaire was used as a measurement tool for the survey.Using overall sampling method,some pilots were selected as test objects to collect sample data and then the survey data were analysed and processed.Using exploratory factor analysis method in multivariate statistics to quantitatively analyze the questionnaire data,internal structure of the civil aviation pilots’ work value includes six dimensions: labor remuneration,company environment,living conditions,working characteristics,macro environment and interpersonal relationship.Furthermore,using the confirmatory factor analysis method to test the degree of fitness of the research concept model,a clear six-dimensional structure model of civil aviation pilots’ work values?in China was finally determined.Based on the relevant research results of this paper,it is possible to provids practical suggestions and methods for planning the professional development of civil aviation pilots and ensuring safety of civil aviation transportation.
