| Nowadays the role of the indoor public space of the terminal building is no longer simply as functions of diverting passengers or waiting for flights.At the same time,as important public space,they providing passengers with a comfortable spiritual experience and strong communication,playing a important role of urban culture and image.Based on the investigation of the indoor public space of the terminal buildings in many local and global cities.It shows the trend of paying more attention to the diversity of space design,commercial and artistic culture,and intervening in the public art installation in the space to create the artistic atmosphere of the space and make it become an airport with cultural heritage.This paper takes the spatial characteristics of the indoor public space of the terminal building as the research object,and through the methods of references analyzing,investigation research,comparative analysis and experience summarization.The public waiting space of the terminal building is an indoor space with the main activities of walking,staying and interaction,including introduction,passage,waiting and leisure functions.It is open and dynamic.Through the researches of Figure-ground relation theory,Place theory and City image,the public open space of terminal and urban public space are similar in terms of components,design methods and visual senses,so it can use some theories of urban design to be applied to the public open space of terminal building.Based on the characteristics of similarity of two,the design principles of indoor public waiting space of terminal building includes promoting communication behavior,ensuring the third space quality,ensuring space guidance,and seeking space integrity and continuity.The main principles of the furnishings design of the indoor public rest space of the terminal are:emphasizing the humanization of user experience,guiding function,meeting the growing needs of the public space,artistry and culture. |
