Research And Application Of Sustainable Product Design Method Based On TRIZ

The pursue of highly developed economy and the huge consumption by big populations makes resource shortage and pollution problems more obvious than before,unreasonable consumption patterns further exacerbate this situation,hindering the sustainable development of human society.So establish a mechanism on sustainable development is an important measure to solve the current problems for economy development and social progress.The sustainable design is a kind of human activities with a clear purpose to solve the problem of resources saving and environment protection which facing by sustainable development.Sustainable product design is to plant the sustainable concept into the product design process and make the product performance sustainable to support sustainable development of society.The existing methods of sustainable product design always start from one or several aspects of product life cycle.It has defects in system analysis.Approaches of sustainable product design,from product materials,energy consumption and structural design,are mostly directional guidance,lacking further analysis and feasibility study on technical problems in the implementation process of the solution.The designers always determine the design scheme according to his own knowledge and experience from previous designers.It lacks the systematic,effective and innovative design methods.Method always comes first before innovation.So the innovation of methods for design of sustainable product is the key and precondition.Advanced and systematic design method can effectively guide the sustainable design of products,and improve the sustainability of the product.This paper is based on the TRIZ theory,focus on sustainable design as the core,and try to establish a sustainable product design method based on TRIZ.In view of this goal,this paper made some research from the following aspects:1.Analysis of the systematic of sustainable design,the specific content and different stages of sustainable product design.2.Demand information of stakeholders in the sustainable product design were obtained,analyzed and transformed,based on the product life cycle assessment analysis.3.The corresponding strategy and solution to the problems in the demand of sustainable product design are formed combined with the tools and methods of TRIZ theory.4.Establish a sustainable product design method based on TRIZ,combined with the strategy for processing the demand information of sustainable product design and the strategy for achieving requirements of sustainable product design.5.Finally,the design of oil spill recovery equipment on the sea was taken as an example to validate the practicality and feasibility of the sustainable product design method based on TRIZ.
