In the electric power system,the current business is mainly carried on the optical fiber network.However,the optical fiber network has some disadvantages,such as the long network construction cycle,the high network maintenance cost,and the vulnerability of optical cables which can be easily destroyed by the external force.In order to solve these problems and adapt to the development trend of smart grid technologies,a novel transmission mode which can share the increasing loads of the optical fiber network is urgently needed.Compared with the third generation mobile communication network(3G),the fourth generation mobile communication network(4G)has greatly improved the transmission speed,which can solve the problems exiting in the optical fiber transmission network to a certain extent.What is more,when applied to the aspect of combining the communication automation management technology with the power distribution terminal equipment,the 4G technology is more flexible,which will definitely benefit the development of the smart grid and achieve the intelligence of the power system.Based on the 4G wireless technology and connecting with the Tianjin Chengnan business district wireless access experiment project,researches on the construction scheme of the power private network are conducted.Firstly,the general principles and construction ideas are illustrated in detail.Then,through predicting the data volume of power consumptions in the business district and the power system daily production work,the cell edge rate is acquired to calculate the max link-loss between the user and the basestation.Since the link-loss is connected with the base station coverage,based on the COST231-Hatatransmission model,the coverage of a single base station is gained easily.Next,the construction plan of the power wireless private network is conducted based on the prediction results and issues like the number of base stations and their locations can also be settled.Finally,an actual testing environment which consists of a core network equipment,seven base stations and several testing terminals is built.Through comparing the actual measured values with the predicted values,the testing results showthat the power wireless private network based on the 4G wireless technology can cover as far as 50 square kilometers in the business area,whichsuccessfully achieves the intended purpose of building the new network.The research results presented in this thesis have a certain reference value for the construction and development of the power wireless private network based on the new generation mobile communication technology.
