| Since the implementation of the "12th Five-Year" plan,the number of airports in China has increased rapidly,which inevitably requires improved operational ability of airport enterprises.The writer of this paper gave a summary of the problems of airports in developing non-aeronautical business.First of all,the proportion of non-aeronautical income in the total income is low.The airports are still more inclined to rely on the aeronautical business built on the flight and passenger throughput.Secondly,non-aeronautical business has been charged by a relatively low price guided by the government for a long time,which leads to the lack of enthusiasm in developing non-aeronautical business,the lack of motivation in improving the satisfaction of consumers or the quality of service.Thirdly,if we mention non-aeronautical business,airports still focus on 3 big deals,"ground service,transportation,and VIP service".Also,airports are still lack in innovation of business type.This paper discussed the situation of non-aeronautical business in the airport in China,and put forward the problems encountered by airport enterprises in developing non-aeronautical business,also the opportunities and challenges.6 listed airport enterprises were chosen and the required information was extracted from their annual reports to be analyzed.In the process of analyzing,firstly,the operating data of airports was used to extract the performance indicators and to calculate the performance score of these 6 airports in recent years.After that,the writer established a corresponding model using the performance score and the non-aeronautical business income as factors.Finally,the relationship between the non-aeronautical business income and the performance of the airport was confirmed according to the results of this model.The final results are as follows: first,under the current situation of civil aviation industry,the relationship between the non-aeronautical business income of the listed airport enterprises and their overall performance is not significant.Second,the non-aeronautical business income of the listed airport enterprises has a more significant positive impact on the airport’s profitability indicator then aeronautical income.Third,for those airports whose flights has faced a slow growth,focusing on non-aeronautical business to improve profit will be a good choice.According to the results of the models,the author gave some suggestions: airports should attach great importance to the development of non-aeronautical business,improve the proportion of non-aeronautical income in the overall airport income.Also we should complete the cost audit and self-pricing work,accelerating the agreement and contract process.Besides,combining regional characteristics to the unique features of themselves,airports should diversify the non-aeronautical industry. |
