The air conditioning system in modern office buildings,as one of main equipments to adjust the indoor environment,not only meet people’s requirements for air quality,but also meet people’s thermal comfort.Temperature,reflecting the degree of indoor thermal environment,is the main parameter to evaluate indoor thermal comfort for people.For a long time,it has been paid more attention to the control accuracy of room temperature,but the location of indoor temperature sensors is less.People always place indoor temperature sensors in the traditional way in the return air duct or in an easy-to-install location in the air conditioning environment.It is unknown whether the temperature in the location can represent and reflect the average temperature of the indoor work environment.Therefore,it is necessary to predict the location of the indoor temperature sensor in order to reflect the optical position representing the average temperature of the indoor work area.With the full size central air conditioning system of municipal and HVAC experimental center in the Chang’an University,the CFD numerical simulation is used to simulate various conditions of the air flow room.Side air supply and top air supply in the summer is simulated,analyzing the rationality of the air distribution in the room and obtaining temperature and speed of the sensor at the same location in the room.Through the analysis of air distribution,it is found that the air distribution of the model accords with the actual conditions.With the analysis of the experimental data and simulation data,they are well fitted,so the reliability of the two models in the room is verified.By simulating the side air supply in summer,the indoor temperature can replaced with the average indoor temperature through the analysis of more temperature points in the working area.The temperature distribution in the indoor working area of different speeds and different temperatures is studied.It is found that the temperature distribution in the room varies,and there is always a constant point position on the vertical plane.This position can always represent the temperature of the whole room,so that this position is the optical position of the indoor temperature sensor.In the same way,there are no temperature points in indoor space by simulating the top air supply in summer.Later,a sensor point is found on the east side,which can accurately measure the temperature in the room.In the same way,the simulation of side air supply and top wind supply in winter is similar with summer.The results show that the best position of the indoor temperature sensor is estimated with a reliable model.As long as the air supply is the same,no matter how the indoor temperature distribution changes,a position can be found on the space or the wall.The sensor can accurately measure the temperature of the indoor working area.The purpose is to provide a reliable basis for temperature control in the air conditioning.
