At present,a part of the reason of the intersection congestion is due to that a large number of vehicles have achieved U-turn within the intersection.Therefore,the traffic engineers proposed U-turn traffic organization at the road section to reduce the congestion at the intersection.On the one hand,Setting up U-turn traffic organization at the road section can reduce traffic pressure at the intersection,on the other hand,it can cause a corresponding impact on the road section.Therefore,the reasonableness of the establishment of U-turn traffic organization at the road section is worthy to study.At first,the research concludes the three major factors affecting the road section and the intersection through analysising the characteristics of the U-turn traffic organization at road section and the factors are the percentage of U-turn vehicles,the distance between the open road sections,and the width of central separation zone.The data of the capacity of road section and the delay of vehicle at the intersection are obtained respectively through the use of VISSIM microscopic simulation,and then the MATLAB software is used to perform fitting operations on the processed data to get these expressions.Based all of these,The comprehensive evaluation index system of Evaluation of road section and intersection is constructed using the analytic hierarchy process,and the method for determining the comprehensive weight of each index is given.Finally,we create a visualization software that can analyze the rationality of U-turn traffic organization at the road section.And analyze the rationality of the establishment of U-turn traffic organization at a certain intersection in Hengyang City.The paper build the visualization software for analysising the rationality of the establishment of U-turn traffic organization with help of VISSIM,MATLAB and VB 6.0.For the further research,we can establish a comprehensive visual calculation platform for the establishment of rational evaluation of traffic organization modes for all-around road sections from the perspective of the enhancement of micro-simulation methods and the scientific determination of the weights of comprehensive evaluation methods...
