In the field of highway engineering construction,cement,lime and other inorganic binder stabilized materials are widely used in pavement base for theirs superior road performance.TG curing agent is a kind of hydronium fine grained soil solidifying agent,non-toxic,pollution-free and low dosage can be applied to cement lime stabilized fine grained soil in order to reduce the amount of inorganic binder.However,TG stabilized soil is the same as ordinary semi rigid material,which is easily affected by temperature,humidity and water in the environment,dry shrinkage crack,temperature shrinkage crack are easily produced and stability decreased.In the field of road engineering construction,the reinforcement effect of fiber mainly concentrates on the cement stabilized macadam.The addition of fiber can improve the tensile strength and crack resistance of the stabilized soil.This paper mainly studies the addition of different amounts of polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber in the TG stabilized soil,Through a large number of experiments,polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber is applied to improve the effect of TG stabilized soil on the unconfined compressive strength,splitting strength,compressive resilient modulus,dry shrinkage property,temperature shrinkage property,water stability and freezing stability.The results of the study are as follows:(1)The TG curing agent can greatly improve the unconfined compressive strength of the cement lime stabilized soil,but it has no obvious effect on the splitting strength.(2)The addition of polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber can not significantly improve the unconfined compressive strength of TG stabilized soil,but with the increase of fiber content,the improvement effect of splitting strength is more and more significant.(3)Adding polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber can reduce the resilient modulus of TG solidified soil,increase the deformation ability of base material,improve its toughness and reduce brittleness,thereby reducing the possibility of cracks.(4)Adding polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber can reduce TG stabilized soil shrinkage strain of dry and temperature and improve its shrinkage resistance.(5)Polypropylene fiber or basalt fiber can improve the water stability and freeze-thaw stability of TG stabilized soil.According to the research results of polypropylene fiber TG stabilized soil and basalt fiber TG stabilized soil strength and stability,it has practical value for further research of composite solidification fine grained soil.
