There are many applications of frame structure in building engineering.However,the lateral stiffness of the frame structure is relatively weak,and the structural members of the frame often have larger cross-section size,which is prone to yield failure under rare earthquake.Steel reinforced concrete columns due to the addition of steel in reinforced concrete columns,not only reduce the section area of the column,but also improve the bearing capacity of the frame structure and the lateral stiffness of the frame structure with better performance.In this paper,a 13-story reinforced concrete frame structure project was analyzed with PKPM software,and the results were compared with ETABS software.The reinforced concrete frame structure is model one,and the partial column and the whole column are respectively equivalent to the steel reinforced concrete columns according to the stiffness equivalent method,and two steel reinforced concrete column frame structure models are established.The three models was analyzed,and their structural cycles,floor displacement,interlayer displacement angle,floor shear force were compared.The results show that the cross-sectional area of the frame column can be reduced by 18% to 22% when the steel reinforced concrete column is adopted under the action of 7 degree(0.15g)frequent earthquake,and it can also reduce the vibration period and lateral displacement.EI Centro wave,San Juan Capistrano wave and an artificial wave are selected according to the site category,seismic grouping and maximum seismic influence coefficient.The elasto-plastic time-history analysis of reinforced concrete frame structure model and steel-reinforced concrete column frame structure model is carried out under rare earthquakes.The paper analyzes the base shear and vertex displacement time curves of the steel reinforced concrete column frame structure model in the rare earthquakes,and analyzes the base shear and vertexes of the reinforced concrete frame structure model and the steel reinforced concrete column frame structure model under rare earthquake.The development of plastic hinges and the ratio of seismic energy dissipation were compared and analyzed.The results show that the steel reinforced concrete column frame structure slows down the yield damage process of the frame part and reduces the yield damage of the frame part.Under the action of rare earthquake,the framework of frame structure with steel reinforced concrete column is stronger and the seismic performance is better.
