| Diamond abrasive pad as a kind of diamond tool play an important role in precision machining.Traditional diamond fixed abrasive pad is prepared by heat curing,which need a long time,ordinary diamond have poor self-sharpness,which result in low grinding efficiency of the abrasive pad,and the surface quality of the workpiece is poor after grinding.In order to improve the grinding performance and production efficiency of the abrasive pad,the diamond abrasive and abrasive pad were studied.Results are as following:1)The mixed slurry of the mixed sol and diamond powders as the aqueous phase,and the mixture of isooctanol,cyclohexane and OP-10 as the oil phase.Inverse Microemulsion Method was used to prepare spherical diamond stacked abrasives,The results show that: when the agitation speed is 1800r/min,Gelating agent is added to the oil phase first.then slowly put in the aqueous phase,The sphericity of the prepared diamond stacked abrasive is better and the particle size is mainly distributed in30~125μm.after sintering at 660°C/1h,it can be melt into a liquid phase,the binder can achieve better coating of the diamond abrasives.The uniform holding force is formed,When the binder content is about 30wt%,the amount of material removed by the grinding liquid is the highest,about 0.59 mm,When the binder content is about35wt%,the surface quality of the glass is the best after grinding,and the roughness is about Ra 0.33 μm.2)Using ultraviole curable resin as the binder,diamond and alumina as the abrasives,The fixed abrasive pad was prepared by photocurable method.the effect of different ratios of ordinary diamond powder and diamond stacked abrasive on the performance of fixed abrasive pad was systematically studied,The results show that when the content of photocurable resin is 45wt%,the content of alumina is 18wt%,the content of ordinary diamond abrasive and stacked abrasive is all about 16.5wt%,the content of porogen is 2wt%,the content of defoamer is 2wt%,at 2 k W power,after3 minutes of curing.The fixed abrasive pad have fewer rules and defects.After grinding the glass,the surface roughness of the glass is the lowest,about150 nm.Moreover,the fixed abrasive pad is compared with 3M,the production requirement in grinding properties.Results show that the performance of the high efficiency photocurable fixed abrasive pad is up to standard of the productionrequirement.Compared with the 3M fixed abrasive pad,the abrasive pad prepared by the photocurable method is slightly lower in service life and material removal amount,but the surface roughness of the glass workpiece is close to the 3M abrasive pad. |
