5-Hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)can be obtained by dehydrating monosaccharides and is a raw material for synthesizing various chemicals.FDCA has been identified as a biomass resource platform compound by the US Department of Energy and has a broad application prospect.The preparation of FDCA from HMF is a popular reaction route,which is not only simple and efficient,but also meets the social needs of sustainable development.This work studied the preparation of FDCA from the oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)under the catalysis of Pt supported on lanthanum-based metal organic frameworks.Three supports were prepared,namely lanthanum metal organic framework(LaMOF)and fibrous lanthanum metal organic frameworks(N-LaMOF and LaMOF@DAAO).Then the meal Pt was deposited on the supports,preparing the three catalysts,designated as lanthanum metal organic framework supported Pt(LaMOF@Pt),fibrous lanthanum metal organic framework supported Pt(N-LaMOF@Pt and LaMOF@DAAO@Pt).The supports and catalysts were characterized by SEM,TEM,EDS,XPS and XRD.It has been demonstrated that on the support LaMOF@DAAO,the metal Pt can be uniformaly distributed with a particle size smaller than 3 nm.The three catalysts,LaMOF@Pt,N-LaMOF@Pt and LaMOF@DAAO@Pt,were utilized for the oxidation of HMF to produce FDCA.It has been demonstrated that the catalyst LaMOF@DAAO@Pt can achieve better HMF conversion.
