With the increasing competition in the domestic and foreign automobile market,the speed of automobile product upgrading is increasing.The limitations of traditional automobile production methods,product design data and manufacturing process data are difficult to perform simultaneously before on-site commissioning of equipment,and most of the design change requirements are difficult to adapt to the production system,making it difficult to meet the requirements of shortening the production cycle of the automobile.With the gradual maturity of virtual manufacturing technology and computer aided engineering,How to realize intelligent automobile manufacturing efficiently,quickly and reliably has become an urgent problem to be solved in today’s automobile industry.Based on the above background,this paper takes the body in white side welding line as the research object,takes the digital factory technology as the solution,mainly studies the process planning and simulation verification of the side welding line,and systematically elaborates the planning method of the side welding line and the simulation verification of the application of this new technology in the actual production.Firstly,on the basis of the analysis of the research background,this paper expounds the research status of body in white process planning and digital factory,Based on the analysis of the development and composition of the body in white welding line,the planning scheme of the side welding line is put forward through the elaboration of the process procedure,process layout,beat planning,layout planning and process planning of the side welding line.Secondly,according to the characteristics of the body in white side coaming assembly,Process Designer is used to plan the platform to build the side coaming manufacturing feature model and process information model,and establish the product tree,resource tree and operation tree.On this basis,the working hours of the station are analyzed,and the 3D layout of the equipment is finally planned.Then the Process Simulation of welding station is studied based on Process Simulate platform.Based on the selection of welding line equipment and the establishment of motion model,the virtual simulation environment is set up,and the robot welding path planning and robot layout optimization of the simulation station are combined to realize the robot welding trajectory simulation.And SOP analysis,robot collision and motion speed analysis and off-line programming are carried out on the simulation station to fully verify the rationality of process planning and robot operation planning.Finally,Process Simulate is used to simulate the welding station according to the resources of the simulation station and the operation sequence of the robot.Through logical processing of intelligent components and sensor definition,the material flow of simulation station is defined.With the control system design of the robot and simulation station,the communication between the robot welding station and PLCSim in Process Simulate is realized,the correctness of the PLC program is verified,and the electrical signals of the simulation station are debugged.
