A Study On The Leisure Lifestyle Of Laoba Teaand The Gender Culture Behind It

LAOBA TEA is a popular leisure life style in Hainan.It originated from the overseas Chinese culture in the Republic of China,and gradually changed from the original consumption by the aristocratic elite to the class-free consumption.The consumption pattern determines its broad consumer.But in this leisure custom,the number of female consumers always accounts a disadvantge propotion compared with male.The article takes the difference of leisure gender consumption and the view of leisure gender as the breakthrough point;Semi-structured interview were conducted with gender consumers in this study;and participants observed used in tea restaurants and leisure consumption patterns.To explore the difference of gender consumption behind mass leisure and the reasons of leisure views and behaviours between differebt genders.It reflects the gender differences in the leisure field of LAOBA TEA.The reseach finding,LAOBA TEA with the people’s price to absorb most of the long-term consumers,to create a civilian signboards and relaxed entertainment leisure style become a mirror of traditional life in hainan.However,in actual consumption,the differences between the sexes in the number of consumers and consumer groups reflect the hidden gender cultural differences and the deep-rooted patriarchal cultural concept in hainan.On the one hand,has long been the traditional feudal moral codes and official atmosphere rendering and infiltrating the hainan han culture,its spread,strong man with a weak woman’s point of view in hainan economic work and family life of the phenomenon of "male from the female law","school" of man "more LaoShaoGong" wind made a woman,women’s status is more comprehensive.On the other hand,the remnant of feudal cultural view leads to a large number of female casual workers still existing in modern society.Female casual workers engaged in the tertiary industry not only spend more time on labor than men,but also weaken their contribution to family economy.Also in the family,the exchange of wedding bride price quantity and housework after marriage and fertility care family status of women has made further,in the fight against men and women and homosexual was unconscious in the comparison of the weakened the sense of leisure,the performance can use generational differences between the transmission of education and culture quality education to reflect.Men use the existing gender labor and family model to askwomen,women are embedded in the patriarchal discourse system lack of awareness of leisure time and leisure consciousness,and breed the habit of men enjoying LAOBA TEA leisure lifestyle is the fundamental cause of gender consumption difference.
