Research On Project Schedule Management Of The Process Computer System Reformation Project For Baosteel’s Unit C312

The project management has already been widely used in the current era where information technologies are highly-developed.Baosteel,as an advanced large-scale steel enterprise,is paying more and more attention to the management of its reformation projects.Unit C312 is a continuous annealing unit of Baosteel Cold Rolling Plant.It was completed and put into operation in 1999,and has been continuously running for nearly 18 years.The automatic control system of unit C312 includes the production management system,the process computer system and the basic automation system.In recent years,equipment state of the process computer system of unit C312 keeps deteriorating.As a result,hardware failures occur frequently.Since the original system cannot satisfy the expansion needs of production process,the reformation of this project is necessary.Based on the concepts of project management,and the difficulties of process system reformation project of unit C312,this paper presents the project schedule plan compilation,and analyzes the methods and measures of project schedule control through the combination of theories and practices.Finally the key points of the implementation and the control of project schedules are proposed in this paper.First,the theory of schedule plan and control will be stated,including the general information of process system reformation project of unit C312,and the necessities,range,architecture and contents of the reformation.Second,the process of process system reformation project of unit C312 will be explained in details,including work breakdown,defining the precedence relation of working,estimating the work time,drawing network diagram and the identification of critical path and the optimized project progress plan.Finally,the plans for supervision and protection of process system reformation project of unit C312 will be proposed.In conclusion,the progress plan and the control of the process system reformation project of unit C312 will be summarized,and I will explore project management theories,especially the application of the theories to process system reformation project.
