Design And Finite Element Analysis Of Right Angle Double Columns Broaching Machine

The broaching technology possesses the advantages of high machining precision,remarkable productive efficiency and low cost,and being widespreadly taken into application in the area of machining,shipping,aviation and so forth.As the vigorous development of the modern automobile industry,they have to face the challenges of the improvement of the auto parts combination properties.Thanks to the unique characteristics of extensive feasibillity,high machining efficiency and presicion of vertical external broaching machine,it has an absolute superiority in the selection of auto parts manufacturing equipments.Nevertheless,the basic performance discussed above of traditional broaching machine is being comparatively insufficient.Due to the shortages of traditional broaching machine,this paper presents a kind of vertical external broaching machine named LG7220SS-2300.Firstly,according to the technical requirements of the clients,the project with double station of machine body has been proposed.Secondly,the length of broaching tool and travel,the selection of main cylinder and the broaching vilocity are being made through the analysis of measurement of the finished product and the check of broaching load.Furthermore,on the basis of the design experience,the main parts of machine are being produced and refined respectively,and the hydraulic part and the electrical part are being finished as well.Afterwords,the finite element modeling process,mainly including the analysis of inherent frequency,mode of vibration,and the structural dynamics under the instantaneous modal,is presented focus on the provement of the reliability of the whole project.Finally,the operational stability and productive qualified rate of broaching machine were ananlyzed in the way of manufacture operation and parts qualification,and meanwhile,the practicability of this broaching machine is manifested.The main research work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)Because of the shortages of traditional broaching machine,this paper presents a the project of vertical external broaching machine with two station of machine body,the length of broaching tool and travel,the selection of main parts are being made through the analysis of measurement of the finished product and the check of broaching load.(2)On the basis of the design experience,the main parts of machine are being produced and refined respectively,and the hydraulic part and the electrical part are being finished as well.(3)The reliability of the whole project is manifested through the finite element modeling process.(4)The practicability of this broaching machine is manifested through the manufacture operation and parts qualification.
