Research On The Influence Of Environmental Regulation On Industrial Structure Adjustment

Environmental regulation is an important means of environmental pollution control.The purpose of its implementation is to control pollution and improve the environment by restricting the behavior of producers or advocating the environmental protection of consumers.Today,with the depletion of resources and the serious deterioration of the environment,it is imminent to find new impetus to change the original development mode.However,environmental regulation tools have been used to influence the adjustment of industrial structure so as to promote the coordinated and orderly development of regional economy.This has become the focus of many scholars and an important issue for studying the new economic development model.Moreover,due to the vast territory of our country and the heterogeneity between regions,the reality of different regions will inevitably affect the country’s environmental regulation strategy and economic development strategy,which will have a differential impact on the industrial restructuring in different regions.Therefore,this article needs to explore is: In our country to promote the protection of the ecological environment in the context of environmental regulation will have different regions of the industrial structure of what kind of difference? What are the deeper reasons for these differences?First of all,this paper systematically reviews existing literature from two aspects,both domestically and abroad,and seeks out and determines the specific research objects and perspectives of this paper,and selects appropriate research methods.Secondly,at the theoretical level,it analyzes the path and factors of environmental regulation affecting industrial restructuring.This article believes that environmental regulation will play an important role in adjusting the industrial structure mainly through four ways of entering the exit restriction,technological innovation,industrial transfer,and consumer demand transfer.At the same time,a descriptive analysis has been carried out on the evolution process of some laws and policies in China and the differences in the regional industrial structure in order to give a clear and detailed description of the environmental regulation effect of China.Further,according to the previous analysis basis,select the measurement indicators for empirical testing.Specifically,this paper uses the relevant data of 31 provinces in China during 2007-2016 to construct a panel model of environmental regulation for industrial restructuring and develops the State Council.The division of the eight economic regions in the report “Strategic and Policy for Regional Coordinated Development” issued by the Research Center is sub-regionally tested.Finally,it is concluded that in different regions of China,the impact of environmental regulation on the adjustment of industrial structure is significant,and on this basis,the possible causes of the differences in environmental regulations for different regions are analyzed in depth.Finally,draw conclusions and give policy recommendations.
