The arctic cold sea area is rich in oil and gas reserves, which has great potential and high strategic value,But shallow geological hazards are one of the main risks for drilling operations in polar cold sea area. These geological disasters can cause catastrophic accidents to the development of polar cold sea oil and gas by mishandled, therefore,it is necessary to identify and predict the shallow geological hazards during drilling process in cold sea.In this paper, the acoustic velocity changes of shallow drilling geological disasters in cold sea are studied by simulating the acoustic characteristics of shallow gas and hydrate in cold sea.Firstly, according to the principle of similarity, simulation experiments are designed to study the acoustic characteristics of shallow gas,to study the shallow gas p-wave velocity varies with the variation law of formation pore pressure response characteristics of the shallow gas formation acoustic parameters model.Secondly, the preliminary exploration experiment was carried out in the low temperature environment, and the experimental process were optimized. Finally carrying out the acoustic characteristics of the gas hydrate simulating experiment, study the acoustic velocity changing with the saturation and porosity, gas hydrate formation acoustic response characteristics parameter model was established. In this paper, the acoustic response characteristics mathematical model of the shallow gas and natural gas hydrate formation with depth changes is established with depth changes, and form the cold sea shallow geological disaster forecast chart, which can effectively improve the prediction accuracy of cold sea shallow geological disasters, which is beneficial to the actual drilling operation.
