Understanding the soil nutrient characteristics of Larix gmelinii at different altitudes plays an important role in revealing the soil-altitude ecological function.Taking Badaogou and Chailugou sample plots in Guandi Mountains as the research objects, the random sampling method was used to determine six nutrient indices of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, available potassium and ammonium nitrogen. The spatial variation characteristics of soil nutrients were analyzed. And the effects of elevation change on soil nutrient characteristics were studied. The results are as follows:(1)The soil organic matter content of Badaogou sample plot in Guandi Mountains was 77.38 g·kg-1,and that of Chailugou sample plot was 55.38 g·kg-1.The total organic matter content was rich, and the other soil nutrient content was relatively high. The variation coefficient of soil available potassium in Badaogou sample plot was the highest(81%)and that in Chailugou sample plot was the highest(94%).The soil nutrient contents in both plots were moderately variable(2)The semi-variance function was used to analyze the soil nutrients of the two plots. It was concluded that except for the low fitting degree of soil organic matter content in the Chailugou plot, the fitting model of other soil nutrients in the two plots was ideal. The spatial heterogeneity of soil organic matter and total nitrogen content in the Badaogou plot was caused by random factors, and its spatial variation was less than that in the Chailugou pot.(3)Clark interpolation method was used to plot the spatial distribution map of soil nutrients in the two plots. The results showed that the soil nutrient content in the two plots was absolutely dominant in the Northeast direction. The range of soil organic carbon was the highest in the Chailugou plot, and the spatial continuity was good. The spatial distribution of soil nutrients in Badaogou sample plot is complex. The spatial distribution of soil nutrients in Chailugou sample plot is similar to that in Badaogou sample plotexcept for the simple distribution of soil ammonium nitrogen.(4)According to Pearson correlation analysis of soil nutrient content,it was found that there was a correlation between soil nutrient content and soil nutrient content, and there was a synergistic effect.Soil organic matter was negatively correlated with available potassium, and soil available phosphorus was negatively correlated with soil ammonium nitrogen.(5)Analyzing the change of soil nutrient content with the elevation gradient,it can be seen that the soil nutrient content increases with the elevation gradient on the whole, and the change trend of soil ammonium nitrogen content is the same as that of soil organic matter and total nitrogen content with the elevation gradient...
