Research On The Evaluation Mechanism Of School Supervision By The British Education Standards Agency

Educational inspection and evaluation is an important link in education administration,countries need to carry out supervision, inspection, evaluation and guidance of educational institutions at all levels,the purpose is to manage the quality of education.The core idea of educational inspection is to make sure the educational policies and guidelines be followed ,improve the quality of education, and promote the healthy development of education.This research combined with the supervision framework developed in 2016,to analyze the operation mechanism of Ofsted’s,describe the current Ofsted’s job settings and division,clear that Ofsted’s organizational principles,scope of responsibilities,institutional settings and personnel structure,to explore the concept of Ofsted’s supervision,evaluation criteria, evaluation process and so on.With Ofsted’s reform service,guidance functions become more and more obvious, which provides inspiration for Chinese educational evaluation institute construction, this research will focus on Ofsted’s school supervision function,supervision from science In this research, the process of supervision, supervision and other aspects of the results, in order to play the role of educational supervision to promote the improvement of the school.This research mainly adopts the literature research method, historical analysis method,comparative analysis method. Using the method of literature collection, screening and sorting,selection of available information, and as a reliable basis for the viewpoint that; by using the method of combing Ofsted’s school supervision evaluation system development history analysis,through analysis and comprehensive, to clear Ofsted’s function; using comparative analysis to set up Ofsted’s school supervision evaluation mechanism and the function of law,and compares it with the education supervision mechanism of our country, to provide reference for the healthy development of our country to improve supervision of industry and education.Ofsted’s School supervision and evaluation based on the development of the supervision idea,to create a professional inspector team, scientific evaluation standard and evaluation process,Ofsted’s played an active role in the school improvement, such as strengthening the school self evaluation work, and strengthen inspectors home school links, absorb the views of parents.Ofsted’s in addition to assessment of the work of school education, the school is more important. The improvement direction correction based on Ofsted’s new supervisory framework,and the Ofsted’s function of the understanding,the evaluation of the organization system construction has Some noteworthy advantages, but also has some shortcomings, such as the role played by local supervision mechanism, supervision independence and impartiality to deepen the relationship between registered inspectors and bureau of standards need to improve supervision results, easy to aggravate the burden of school. But overall, Ofsted’s school supervision evaluation mechanism is a certain the enlightenment for our country to develop educational evaluation institute work, such as to improve our education quality evaluation,change supervision mechanism function, strengthen the assessment results of school improvement for reference.
