Core strength training has always been an important part in dance assistant training. After six months of research,it is proved that the traditional training is mainly completing the unarmed abdominal and back muscles on the ground, but not achieving the deep purpose of improving the core strength, and the training effect is less feedback on the dance movements. So dance teachers and students are trying to use new methods of the core strength training for dancers. But it is also difficult to arrange a large number of training tools in dance classrooms. Therefore,it can be trained in the special classroom with the help of Pilates and other tools.Although it works effective to some extent, the cost of purchasing equipment and the convenience of use are unsatisfied. In the view of the present situation above, based on the previous research on core strength training and suspension training, this paper focused on developing a suspension belt suitable for the core strength training of dancers according to the dancers’ ability needs, physical conditions, training environment and practical application, and developing a complete set of suspension training movements by documentary methods, experiments, observation, contrast, investigation and statistical analysis.Through the special designed evaluation combined with the auxiliary test of morphological measurement and active flexibility of the lower limbs, the test of valence action has been verified repeatedly by several experimental data, which proves the effectiveness, safety and convenience of the suspension training method to improve the core strength of the dancers, and provide the training principles, training movements and training loads for dancers to carry out some specific suggestions of the suspension training.
