A Preliminary Study On Village Protection And Reconstruction

Urban construction is in full swing in China.However,the process of rural construction is tortuous.Chinese cities are developing rapidly,with ceaseless modernization paces.How about the development of villages in China against the backdrop of booming cities? Affected by urbanization,Chinese rural areas are undergoing dramatic changes.Lots of the surplus labor forces in rural areas are swarming to cities,making villages empty.As a result,the development of villages has stopped,the traditional cultures of villages are disappearing,ecological environment has been destroyed,and human-beings’ values have been distorted… Rural areas are suffering from a heavy blow.With large areas in total,the original villages in China featured rich natural resources,beautiful sceneries,long histories,long-term country cultures,as well as honest and simple residents,which are gradually disappearing.How to make villages adapt to the era whist protecting and inheriting these outstanding cultures is a challenge for rural construction.With the development of cities,China has generally entered a medium stage in rapid urbanization and industrialization,which have brought development opportunities for rural construction.Tudiling Village in Xichuan County,Nanyang City of Henan Province is a common village amid rapid urbanization,which also sees a series of impacts brought about by urbanization to villages.The author of this paper found the problems in the development of Tudiling in a field survey and made proposals for the development of the village according to Chinese and foreign studies on relevant cases.According to the study of the original plan,as well as the analysis of the current value of Tudiling,the author found the defects of the original plan.After studying outstanding rural construction cases at home and abroad,the author designed a concept plan that is suitable for Tudiling’s development with professional knowledge.Tudiling has reflected the existing problems in rural construction,which will cause more people to pay attention to rural construction and make proposals for the construction.This paper is aimed to make an in-depth survey of a village to spot the existing problems of all Chinese villages,so as to find some approaches to resolve rural problems,attract all social communities’ attention to rural problems and boost rural construction.
