Tractor-semitrailer with load transport capacity,low transportation costs.higher transport efficiency advantages,and with the continued construction of the highway,tractor-semitrailer play an increasingly important role in the logistics and transport industry,at the same time it is a combination of tractor-semitrailer tractor and trailer,This makes the tractor-semitrailer operating conditions are more complex than traditional passenger cars or ordinary single unit for commercial vehicles. As the tractor-semitrailer of ownership increases, its steering difficulties on a larger curvature curve, Turning lane width wide occupancy Severe tire wear,etc.Trailer steering problems brought more and more user attention.Therefore it is necessary to analyze and research on this issue at improving mobility tractor-semitrailer.This paper studies and analyzes the domestic and foreign tractor-semitrailer steering and related products.on this basis,improved a semi-trailer rear axle steering linkage,when steering,tractor drive trailer and rear axle steering linkage movement by the modified saddle,to make semi-trailer axle rotating the respective angle,in order to achieve this design goal which to improve tractor-semitrailer steering maneuverability for making the trailer turning radius close to the tractor turning radius.in this paper,the tractor-semitrailer steering theory were analyzed,by way of turning radius,turning the channel width,offset the tractor-semitrailer steering performance three evaluation parameters,the tractor-semitrailer with a semi-trailer rear axle steering linkage was evaluated.then has built up tractor-semitrailer steering linkage model to analyze its steering trajectory and divided into general conditions,into the corners conditions,out of the corners conditions,the best trailer wheelbase is obtained by analyzes and calculations.as well as two kinds of tractor-semitrailer steering trajectory deviation.according to analysis of tractor-semitrailer steering trajectory results,while some data based on national standards and enterprise provided,on the basis of in-depth analysis of trailer rear axle steering linkage works and the towing angle and rear axle semi-trailer rotation angle relationship,calculated the trailer rear axle steering linkage of the various key parameters,based on these data,to design a three-dimensional virtual prototype tractor-semi-trailer rear axle with a steering linkage.in the PROE the steering linkage has been checked in space,according to the results of the analysis the three-dimensional virtual prototype has been modified.Finally.in AUTOCAD graphical method is used to analysis the mechanism kinematics of trailer rear axle steering linkage,verified the relationship between the angle of rear axle steering linkage.Import the modifications completed virtual prototype of tractor-semitrailer into ADAMS to proceed the kinematics modeling, and simulation analysis of tractor-semitrailer is using the ADAMS view module.The simulation results show the new trailer rear axle tractor-semitrailer with a steering linkage has a better trajectory tracking performance than traditional tractor-semitrailer,to achieve the purpose of the steering linkage design in the main.
