Wireless Sensor Network is a novel Ad Hoc Network which includes several sensor nodes,deployed in a monitoring area,and adopts wirelessly communication.As “smart” information collection technology,Wireless Sensor Network has been widely used in the Internet of things and big data information acquisition system.However,as to the Wireless Sensor Network which needs to be deployed in the monitoring area for a long term,fast consumption of nodes' depletable energy resources threats seriously network lifetime and affects the normal operation of network.Therefore,the effective optimization of the network of energy consumption is one of the primary problems in Wireless Sensor Network.Hierarchical packet forwarding mechanism can effectively improve the network performance,make full use of energy resources,and realize effective packet forwarding of energy.Thus,this thesis proposes to study the energy efficient hierarchical packet forwarding mechanism in Wireless Sensor Network.Firstly,the basic concepts,characteristics,typical application scenarios and current hot spots of Wireless Sensor Network are introduced,the mainstream packet forwarding mechanism are classified,of which several typical energy efficient packet forwarding mechanism are detailed introduced combined with related work in this thesis.Secondly,aiming at the energy hole issue in Wireless Sensor Network,an energy-balanced dynamic hierarchical packet forwarding mechanism is proposed.According to the node available energy,relative position and the energy consumption of cluster head in different areas,the unequal hierarchical model can be constructed.Furthermore,in order to improve energy efficiency of inter-cluster multi-hop packet forwarding,both node energy overhead in the phase of inner-cluster communication and node relationship are considered for relay node selection,Comparing to the other proposed mechanism,the simulation results demonstrate that it can reduce the communication overhead significantly,improve the network coverage and balance the network load.Next,aiming at the typical NP-Hard problems of clustering and routing in hierarchical packet forwarding,Partical Swarm Optimization based energy efficient hierarchical packet forwarding mechanism is proposed.According to the characteristics of the hierarchical packet forwarding,the construction of clustering and routing are summarized as two linear programming and multi-objective function has been designed rationally.Then,it introduces the particle swarm optimization algorithm,through the evolution rules of the particle to constantly intelligent optimize the cluster head election and routing construction to get hierarchical deployment of network structure with low to achieve finally,energy-efficient packet forwarding.The simulation results demonstrate that the utilization of network energy can be enhanced and the network performance can be improved enormously.Finally,the conclusion and future research works are given.
