With the rapid development of the information technology in China,the enterprises has gradually accumulated a lot of business data.How to use and analyze these data and provide assistance for enterprise management decision,which becomes a difficult problem setted in front of the enterprise.With the progress of data mining technology,the importance of the data mining in many field is approved by more and more people.It makes use of passed data to find out the underline business rule by the way of establishing mathematics model.Data mining technology has been applied successfully in business field in recent years.For example,the customer fraud analysis ? the customer chum analysis ? the customer segmentation ? the association rules analysis etc.The customer segmentation analysis and chum analysis has become a hot spot in the application of data mining technology in many fields.Customer segmentation is based on the behavior and characteristics data of customers,it divided customers with similar characteristics into the same group,but there are some difference between different customer groups.Customer chum prediction is based on the history data of lost customer to analyze their characteristics and use the model to identify potential chum customers.According to these analysis,enterprises can better understand the characteristics of costumers and adopt proper measure to improve the profits.The purpose of this paper is to use data mining technology in express service industry.In this paper,we used the express service company consumption data between Nov.1.2015 and Jan.31.2016,and based on the k-means arithmetic?two-step arithmetic?artificial neural network arithmetic and classification and regression tree arithmetic.Established the customer segmentation model and the customer chum prediction mode,and provided some suggestions for the following analysis.The results of this study show that with the progress of data mining technology and the competition of express service industry,the data mining methods can help enterprises to analyze and find more valuable customer information and pattern of behavior.
