Research On The Construction And Communication Of Campus Culture Symbols

Campus culture is an important part of social culture,which plays a role in educating people,playing a social guiding role.At present,the study of campus culture is more and more diverse and substantial,but mostly macro or descriptive research.Few scholars interpret Campus Culture from the Perspective of Semiotics,case studies,especially on the campus culture of LZU,are less.In order to make up for the shortcomings of previous studies,this paper takes the Camel of LZU as a typical case and analyzes it with the theory of propagating semiotics,summarizes the successful experiences of the events and puts forward constructive suggestions for the construction and dissemination of campus culture.This paper uses text analysis,semiotics analysis,the theory of communication and semiotics to analyze the evolution process of Camel of LZU event,the text feature and the meaning of camel symbol.At the same time,the author also uses the method of symbolic aggregation to study the value orientation construction process of camel symbol,and explores the movement path of camel into Lanzhou campus culture symbol circle with symbol circle theory.On this basis,this study summarizes the strategy of building and propagating campus culture symbols.The study found that Camel of LZU is a new media environment teachers and alumni and school officials to create the campus culture symbol,and students as the main force.This event acts as a catalyst for symbolic deconstruction and reconstruction.The meaning of camel gradually changes from negative to positive in the interaction between teachers and students and schools,and its value gradually coincides with the core value of Lanzhou University.Symbols and meanings are arbitrarily connected,Lanzhou University teachers and students' self-deprecating interpretation with symbolic meaning on the camel is the key of meaning proliferation and value change.From the movement of the sign,the camel is originally free from the campus symbol of the campus,butbecause of its value system withstand the Lanzhou University core value of the test,so the success of the displacement to the symbol circle center,become The symbol of the cultural characteristics of the Lanzhou University.For the construction and dissemination of campus culture symbols,this study puts forward the following suggestions: First,the construction of cultural symbols should take the leading culture as the core,supplement the foreign culture and absorb the essence of local culture and network culture.Secondly,the school should be based on mass communication as a means to create equal discourse power space,timely guidance of public opinion,to promote the development of the campus culture,and to promote the development of the campus culture,To ensure the healthy development of campus public opinion.
