Currently,more than fifty percent of Internet traffic is huge content distribution traffic.The traditional TCP/IP network architecture is gradually difficult to complete the transmission of huge high-frequency high-recurrence content.A number of countries have launched project aiming on designing future network architectures to solve the problems today's network is facing.Among which,the idea of Information-Centric Network(ICN)has risen up as the dominating one.This paper focuses on Content-Centric Network(CCN),which is the one of the typical prototype of ICN.CCN redesigns the network routing,caching,security,mobility,and scalability to be content-centric and enhances the performance of the network.On its way to spread,CCN is facing a major problem that it can't be applied to challenged networks.CCN can only keep the transfer record for a certain period of time so it will lose packages in the challenged network environment with unsteady nodes and high-latency links.This paper focuses on adaptability of CCN to high-latency network with unstable topology.The research doesn't only lie in normal CCN pull communication mechanism but also lies in special push communication mechanism.By taking example by Delay Tolerant Network(DTN),a delay tolerant mechanism based on CCN is designed.This paper did research on CCNx and add new PIT table and special Interest and Data packages in the code to support delay tolerant mechanism in CCN.Here are the innovative points:First,improve the original pull mode in CCN and make it work better in high-latency networks.Second,design a custody transfer mechanism based on CCN,including link detect mechanism,push mechanism,hop by hop communication process and feedback mechanism.Finally,we build a simulation platform based on CCNx and implement the proposed improvement.
