With the deep development of Internet,the application of today’s network become more and more rich.In order to provide custom resource allocation for these applications,the industry has proposed two concepts AAN(Application-Aware Networks)and NAA(Network-Aware Applications).The former is to allow the network to perceive the demand change of applications and then implement proper routing.And the latter is to allow the application to perceive the network state and then adjust the routing.These two concepts both have drawbacks.AAN is too dependent on the network ability to monitor applications,but the network can only identify the type of application,and it is difficult to really perceive the application state which is closely related to the user experience.NAA is too dependent on the application’s ability to know network,but this ability of end-to-end monitoring network may be inaccurate and incomplete.There are some drawbacks on the unilateral dependence on the application or the network’s active detection capabilities.And sharing information between applications and network can solve these shortcomings to provide better QoS support.In traditional networks,it is difficult to achieve application and network interaction,but the emergence of software-defined network(SDN)makes this interaction become reality and let applications and network can participate in routing decisions together.In such an architecture,a single application can take full advantage of the interaction with the network to make the most beneficial routing decisions for itself.But if there are multiple applications’ s traffic needs to be routed,in the pursuit of their own interests at the same time,some applications’ decision may affect the interests of other applications.So there is a conflict of interest,how to avoid or solve such conflicts? In addition,the benefits of the application and the interests of the network may also conflict,how to avoid and resolve such conflicts?In order to solve the conflict between application and application resource allocation,this paper designs the APP-Voting algorithm based on voting mechanism,puts forward the concept of application satisfaction and satisfaction variance,puts forward the new voting method CRANA Method,and analyzes the reason of using voting system.It can be seen from the simulation that the algorithm can solve the problem of resource allocation conflict between application and application.In order to solve the resource allocation conflict between application and network,APP-Net-Voting algorithm is designed for off-line research scene.The algorithm adds network decision maker and neutral decision maker to APP-Voting algorithm.The simulation can show that the algorithm result is the compromise of applications benefits and network benefits;for online research scene Online APP-Net-Voting algorithm,through simulation we can know in the online scene this algorithm can achieve the compromise of applications’ benefits and network benefits.And increasing the number of network votes can make the voting result is more favorable to the network.Finally,this paper verifies the effect of above algorithms on SDN platform.It introduces the SDN experimental platform,the idea of experimental design and the details of experimental deployment.It can be seen that there is a similar result with the theoretical part of the simulation,which is a good compromise between applications benefits and network benefits.
