ZnO is a new multifuntional semiconductor material, which has many excellent properties as optical properties, photocatalysis, conductivity and others, with the band gap of 3.37 eV and the exction binding energy of 60 meV. MoS2 is a new semiconductor material, and it has a high carrier mobility, a high specific surface area and a strong adhesion to the metal. Based on those advantages, they are wildly employed in the field of sensors, photocatalysis, light-emitting diodes and so on.However, ZnO has its self-defect as photocatalysis and semiconductor material. Due to the wide band gap, ZnO can only be excited by short-wavelength UV and has a strong absorption to the ultraviolet light, so the utilization of sunlight and the catalytic efficiency are relatively low. About those problems we have carried out research. The main content is as follows:?1? The multi-branched ZnO micro-nano structure was prepared via water bath method. The activity of the photocatalysis degredation was studied by degrading the Rhodamine B solution. The results show that the degradation rate was 85% when ZnO degraded the Rhodamine B solution during 3 hours. Its optical properties were studied.?2? The MoS2 were successfully prepared via hydrothermal method. We also have studied the effect of annealing on the crystal structure of materials. The results show that the sample still remains its original crystal structure after the annealing at 800 ° C. Meanwhile, the photocatalysis efficiency was studied and the results indicate that MoS2 has the extraordinarily strong adsorption properties.?3? The MoS2/ZnO composites were prepared via water bath method and its optical properities were studied. The photocatalysis efficiency of the MoS2/ZnO composites was studied by degrading Rhodamine B solution. The results indicate that the MoS2/ZnO composites have shown superior photocatalysis properties.
