In recent years, semiconductor-pumped passively Q-switched solid-state lasers has been rapid development, about its output characteristics become hot research. Theoretical analysis of laser output characteristics can be made cost less than the cost of the experiment. In this paper, considered the absorption coefficient of saturable absorber change with time that is dynamic loss of the laser system during Q-switching, simulazed LD end-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:YAG laser output parameters, and verified it by experiments.First, introduced passively Q-switch simply. Analyzed passively Q-rate equations with considering of dynamic loss items, the numerical simulation the relationship between laser output parameters and the output mirror transmittance as wellas saturable absorber initial transmittance.Second, builded LD end-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. In the condition of different saturable absorber initial transmittance and different output mirror transmittance,measured the laser output parameters in experience. Compared and analyzed the theoretical results with the experimental results, the theoretical and experimental results are basically the same.
