Sichuan is prone areas of geological disasters, especially since the 5.12 earthquake frequency of geological disasters in the earthquake affected areas of western Sichuan are also on the rise. Natural disasters always aftershocks, landslides and other facilities affecting the safety of various types of infrastructure, especially power industry mountain substation facilities, hydropower stations'normal work. Meanwhile, third-party organizations (such as the meteorological department, Seismological Bureau, etc.) provides security early warning mechanism cannot fully meet the practical needs of the power industry for disaster warning and a lot of information and data is hysteresis. So the power industry is necessary to establish their own independent geological disaster monitoring and early warning systems to provide reliable information to effectively guarantee for the power industry, production, transportation and management.Firstly, the electric power industry for the technical geological disaster warning systems involved in particular sensor information technology and key equipment required for various types of disaster warning were introduced to geological conditions, especially in Sichuan Province earthquake briefly analysis shows, so as to clarify the overall development and construction of the target system functional requirements and systems. In the design process of the system, the choice of architecture design thesis geological disaster warning systems, hardware and software architecture design and composition and key early warning and monitoring devices have been described, and how to collect information through software technology and network technology and real-time transmission, backstage management and disaster warning process carried out a detailed design elaboration.
