The Development Research Of Chinese Library And Information Science On Mapping Knowledge Domains

With the development of the information age, Library and Information Science in our country has changing quickly, the knowledge sources of this subject has become complex and diverse. Compared with the traditional library and Information Science, not only including scientific theory foundation, but also including the application of technology. At the same time, the library and information science research team and research institutions are increasing constantly. In order to have a comprehensive understanding of C hinese Library and information science development. In this paper, by means of the theory and method of knowledge map in the science of Metrology, and selection of 18 kinds of CSSCI source journals published papers in library and information science during 2003 to 2014 as the research data. Also choose the whole subjectnational fund project during 2006 to 2015 as the research data.First of all, we can use two method which are word frequency analysis and information visualization to analysis research status of C hinese Library and Information Science from three aspects of the national project funds, research scholars, research institutions. Secondly, based on the data of the keyword in the literature during 2003 to 2014 Years, using the knowledge mapping method about the word analysis method, clustering analysis, strategic diagram and so on, combining all these method to analysis the research topic distribution and evolution in three time periods about 2003-2006, 2006-2010 and 2011-2014. Finally, Combined with the analysis of the current situation of Library and information science and the evolution of the research topic, System reveals the current development situation, mainstream academic groups, the authority of the representative figures, the core research institutions, research hotspots and research frontiers of Library and Information Science.In this study, the main conclusion:(1) The subject of LIS is in young period of vigorous development, the national fund increased year by year, and government support efforts continue to increase.(2) The authority representatives of LIS are Junping Q iu, Q inghua Zhu, Xiaolin Zhang etc, and the age structure of scientific research team is good, Just right for the sustainable development of the subject.(3) The research team of LIS mainly distributed in universities and scientific research institutes, especially the “985” universities, The level of scientific research in different areas still has great gap between the rich and the poor.(4) The main research focus of LIS are distributing digital library, library service, knowledge management and service, information resources, competitive intelligence, e-government and so on.(5) the research frontier of LIS mainly include literature metrology, network public opinion, books Library services and management research, data mining, ontology and semantic web research topics etc.
