Writing teaching is always regarded as a difficult and key point in English teaching.Meanwhile,the writing ability is also an essential language skill for students to master.However,because of many factors,the writing teaching doesn’t go smoothly in most parts of China,especially in rural areas.Quite a lot of teachers explain the sample writing patiently and devote too much hard work to correcting the students’ writing,but the writing ability of most students isn’t improved materially.In exams,most of them cannot get satisfactory scores in writing.Therefore,this paper tries to analyze the current teaching and learning situation in senior 3 English writing period,to make the class active,interactive and creative,based on the grouped-interactive and the self-inquired theory,the grouped interactive and independent inquired mode is put into use.The author raised the research question that how we practice the grouped-interactive and the self-inquired mode in Senior 3 English writing teaching to increase the students’ writing interest and capability effectively.To answer it,the author decides to do an experiment research on an ordinary science class,then compare and analyze the result with another class in the same level.The research lasts from September of 2015 to June of 2016,two months a period which has eight writing periods and two monthly exams including ten writing practice.The data of the research collected and analyzed by means of questionnaires,interviews,college entrance examination imitating tests has proved that the research is effective in improving the students’ writing interest and level.The dissertation consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,briefly describing the background,purpose and significance,methods and considerations,and the related research situation home and abroad.Chapter two elaborates the theoretical basis and related teaching modes.Chapter three is the detailed process of the research.Chapter Four collects and analyzes the data from the questionnaires,the interviews and the major test results before the college entrance examination,and draws a conclusion.Chapter five shows the reflection and enlightenment of the research.
