| Physics,as an experimental science,is an important part of high school education.As a means to study the subject.the experiment is an essential method to help students understand and transform the world.Experimental exploration can cultivate their spirit of innovation,enhance their practical operation ability and improve their scientific research accomplishment.Thus,experiment plays a significant role in high school physics teaching.In the actual teaching activities,however,a series of problems are found as follow:Firstly,some schools lack the full understanding of the importance of experimental teaching and do not provide any experimental course.Secondly,because of limited funds,some schools cannot provide sufficient equipments as required.As a result,the presentation of the experimental process is unclear for students and thus the teaching effect is greatly affected.Finally,some experiments are too dangerous and others can only be carried out under special conditions,thus making it impossible to operate in class.In view of the above problems found in physics teaching,the author believes that the virtual reality technology can be used to simulate the real physics experiment scene to solve the problem.The method has the advantages of low cost,high efficiency and zero risk,which can make up for the deficiency in the experiment teaching.This paper introduces the current research status of virtual reality technology at home and abroad,and analyzes the development and design of related technologies.With the help of the comparative analysis of modeling techniques and interactive technologies,our study selects the 3D Max and Virtools as the virtual experimental research and design tools.Employing the virtual experiment research and design theories as reference,the paper also gives an introduction about the design of some aspects of the virtual experiment,such as interface,interaction,content and levels.It also provides a detailed explanation of the development process of the exqperiments with datas from some specific experiment cases.In the end,the paper makes a summary of the results from above research and puts forward the valuable suggestion that the virtual teaching resources can be further popularized in combination with the existing teaching tools such as the Rain Class. |
