At present, the functional physical capacity assessment and functional training has become a hot topic. It has been are more and more widely applied by professional sports teams, and some success has been achieved. But among the general public it has not yet been widely used and promoted. This thesis aims to explore the interventional effect of functional assessment and functional physical training on the incorrect postrue of ordinary college students.Several research methods have been used in the study, such as literature survey, expert interview, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics, etc.First, the paper analyzes the relevant literatures of functional assessment and intervention and adolescent posture, and consult relevant experts to determine research topics and experimental methods, and form a questionnaire.Then,60 college students from Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao were surveyed and they are asked to answer the questions in the questionnaire. The posture of the sample students was evaluated by static posture test and three functional test methods(FMS,Y-Balance and SFMA).In the experiment, the participating students were divided into three groups(group A,group B,group C).Each group is made up of 20 students. All 60 students receive a static posture test, and they are asked to take part in one of the above three functional assessments. After the test, based on the frequent problems among the students, they are given 12-week functional posture training, including PNF stretching training, the core muscle group training, standing posture training, spine adjustment techniques and cervical vertebra adjustment techniques, etc.Considering the result of literature analysis and the opinion of experts,in order to guarantee the effect of intervention and also in order to make the research achievement widely applied among college students, effective unstable support training method is employed in the study;in addition,in the process of training, the external equipments should be as little as possible. The students can be trained with equipments available to get,and sometimes they can be trained without any external equipment. After the training, once again a new assessment is conducted.Based on the result of the assessment, the statistical software SPSS 22.0 is used to analyze the interventional effect.According to research, after 12 weeks of training, the results of the re-test show the student’s postural problems are effectively adjusted or eliminated in static postural test. The scores of the students in FMS test are were statistically different. But,obviously through the functional postural training, their FMS scores have been improved.SFMA’s two results show that the scores of the students in squat project results have been improved, and the results were statistically different. The results of Y-Balance show that the scores of the three directions were improved in the upper limb test before and after the training.Furthermore, the scores of lower lateral and upper lateral are extremely different, which is statistically significant.Similarly,in the lower limb test, the scores of the three directions have increased and the scores of lower lateral and upper lateral are extremely different, which is also statistically significant. This result proves that the functional training methods in this thesis are effective for college students’ postural adjustment, and static postural assessment is consistent with the results of functional postural assessment.
