Problem solving is an important way to cultivate and develop students’ innovative ability,and it is an important link for scientists to explore unknown areas.The purpose of the new curriculum reform is to cultivate the spirit of innovation and practical ability to promote the development of each student’s physical and mental health,cultivate good moral character,to meet the needs of students for life.The teaching of "problem solving",which was put forward in the 1980s,is a teaching model based on problem-solving.It pays more attention to developing students’ thinking and cultivating students’ innovative ability and problem-solving ability."Problem-solving" teaching is in line with the requirements of the times.It is the product of the development of modern society and is the manifestation of the promotion of educational thinkingThe first part of this paper is an introduction,which mainly summarizes the current situation of problem-solving teaching and some existing problems in China and abroad.The second part focuses on the theory of problem-solving teaching,including the concept,meaning and key elements of problem-solving teaching,and the outline of teaching design.And it expounds the principles that should be followed in the teaching design of problem-solving teaching.The third part is the survey and analysis,mainly for senior high school students’ awareness of the problem and physical learning.Its purpose is to found out the characteristics of physics learning and the differences in problem awareness and physical learning according to different gender,different grades,different achievements for comparative analysis.And it provides the basis for teaching practice.The fourth part is the case of senior high school physics problem-solving teaching design,and its effect evaluation and analysis.Three cases based on conceptual,computational and operational problems are selected as representative.And it analyzes the teaching effect after the implementation,and the difficulties and shortcomings in teaching process of the three cases.The fifth part is the summary and the reflection,mainly elaborated the problem-solving teaching realistic puzzle and the expectation to its future.
