Objective:In order to understand the services demands of the elderly in senior care organizations under the trend of services standardization and ability assessment standardization,analyze the influence factors of the services demands,explore the different services demand degree and structure of different ability level groups,help senior care organizations improve the quality of services constantly with the demands and standard as guide,make suggestions for revision of the national standard Basic Standard for Senior Care Organization(GB/T29353-2012).Methods:(1)The questionnaire on services demands for the elderly in senior care organizations was designed based on the national standard Basic Standard for Senior Care Organization(GB/T29353-2012)and relevant literature,and it includes 12 basic situation and 25 services in 4 dimensions.(2)Stratified random sampling was used in the questionnaire survey which faced 687 different ability level elderly people living in 18 senior care organizations in 9 provinces.(3)Frequency and constituent ratio were used to describe basic situation of the elderly;mean,standard deviation,standardized score and ratio were used to describe services demands of the elderly;t test,one-way ANOVA and binary logistic regression analysis were used to explore influence factors of different dimensions;mean,standard deviation,standardized score and constituent ratio were used to describe different services demand degree and structure of different ability level groups and correlation analysis was used to explore the law of change;frequency was used to summary the potential services demands of the elderly.Results:687 elderly people living in the senior care organizations were surveyed,which constituted by 244(35.5%)with no disability,243(35.4%)with mild disability,132(19.2%)with moderate disability and 68(9.89%)with severe disability.The elderly people are mainly female,Han,advanced age,without a spouse and having a good economy(Monthly average income more than 2000 accounted for 80.1%)and the education(middle school and above accounted for 75.5%)situation.The results shows that daily life care services demand is at the lowest level,which can be influenced by ability level and number of children;medical and health services demand is at a higher level,which can be influenced by ability level,having a spouse or not,number of children and payment method;leisure and entertainment services demand is at the highest level,which can be influenced by ability level,institution nature,age,loving to play with other elderly people or not;psychological comfort services demand is at a lower level,which can be influenced by ability level,age,payment method,frequency of being visited.The demand degree and structure of different ability level groups in different dimensions and services is different.There are some potential services that the elderly need haven't been mentioned by the national standard Basic Standard for Senior Care Organization(GB/T29353-2012).Conclusions:(1)The different dimension services demand of the elderly is influenced by many factors,and the ability level is one of the most important factors.The overall services demand degree,different dimension services demand degree,different services demand degree are all different with the change of ability level,and they show a certain change in the law.(2)The content of national standard Basic Standard for Senior Care Organization(GB/T29353-2012)includes almost all the services that different kind elderly people living in the senior care organizations need.In the same time,there is a space for revising and promoting: There is still a gap between the services mentioned and the actual needs of the elderly,Some entries' description are less operational and the standard guidance lacks pertinence between the different types of institutions.
