Saga is the basic unit of human life,which is closely related to the individual,society and the times.it is rich in historical and cultural connotations.Saga history is the epitome of social civilization,the process of human development,Which reflects the individual spiritual growth,reflects the winds of change,is a record of the history of mankind "living fossil",is also an important motif of literary creation.As an important type of literature in 20 Century,the saga novels are still favored by many writers in the 21 century.In the face of an irreversible trend of modernization and globalization.The writer stands on the new time node,and makes a survey and reflection on the Chinese history in the 20 Century by the saga novel.They puts the modern consciousness and the individual consciousness into it.For the desire of historical interpretation and the preference of the family history structure,the saga novel forms the text form of family narrative and historical narrative in the new century.This paper focuses on the historical writing of saga novels in the new century.This article starts with the text content.From the four aspects of revolution,native land,nationality and individual,this paper describes the complex historical narrative state of the saga novels in the new century.Secondly,from the two aspects of personal history and folk standpoint,the paper explains the way of historical construction of the saga novels in the new century.Finally,from the two aspects of the return of realism and tragic aesthetic keynote,the paper shows the historical consciousness of the saga novels in the new century.
