Calligraphy makes full use of the structure of the law of Chinese characters, Chinese characters as aesthetic objects of art of writing. With calligraphy assisted teaching, more in line with pictograph characters ideograph characteristics. Meanwhile, calligraphy is the quintessence of China, has a history of thousands of years, it is a typical representative of Chinese culture. In Teaching Chinese as a second language conducted teaching calligraphy, not only assisted teaching of Chinese characters, but also spread Chinese culture to the learners. In this article, comparing foreign Language Teaching and domestic calligraphy teaching, sum up that when teaching Chinese calligraphy to foreigner,what should be paid attention to the special nature of teaching objects, pointing out that as a foreign language, calligraphy teaching should pay attention to students,from teaching objectives, teaching content,and teaching methods these three areas. Combined with my own practical teaching experience in Thailand, according to Thai teaching environment and the characteristics of students, designed a teaching program, and take into practice, sum up experience and lessons, and has made some achievements. by a semester of learning Calligraphy, students have a general understanding of Chinese calligraphy, their Chinese writing level have also been greatly improved. Writing errors, especially stroke errors significantly reduced, and handwriting aesthetics and writing speed has also been improved.
