The Adjustment Of National Culture Mentality In The View Of Culture Construction Of China

With the deepening of reform and opening up,the rapid Chinese economic development,the continuous promotion of comprehensive national strength,and the increasingly important role of international influence,China is also changing the focus of national development strategy by paying attention to the coordinated development of both the "hard" and "soft" strength from the hard power of development gradually,however,the culture construction is the basic requirements of China’s soft power.The construction of cultural power,involves the concept transformation of cultural development,the development of cultural undertaking and cultural industry,and the development of national healthy cultural mind.The process of constructing country culture is also the process of national health mentality.Therefore,the research of the adjustment of national cultural mind is one of the most important issues of cultural power construction.With the deepening of reform and opening up and the development of globalization and informatization,Chinese cultural idea and cultural perspective,including cultural mentality has undergone tremendous changes in general compared with the past.Chinese culture demonstrates more confidence,pride,openness and inclusion.But at the same time,some traditional evils in national cultural mentality still exist.With the progress of China’s modernization,some new problems appeared like cultural arrogance,cultural inferiority,culture closure psychology,the culture subjectivity loss,and cultural nihilism.The advanced cultural mentality pays a positive role in the development of society to promote the social development.While the backward sick culture mentality not only undermines the identity of national culture,threatens the inheritance and development of the traditional ethnic culture and develops the social mentality of admirer of the West,but also hinds the progress and development of Chinese culture.Its causes are various making China’s current national culture mentality problems.There are not only historical and practical reasons,but also subjective and objective ones.For example,the backward modern China causes the hysteresis influence of national culture inferiority,the blind arrogance mind of seclusion.Also,the Western culture shock gives rise to the mentality of worshiping the West.The paper,based on the analysis of the problems of the reality of the current national cultural mentality,puts forward the basic ideas and suggestions to adjust the national cultural mentality effectively: it upholds the guidance of Marxism,studies the cultural phenomenon correctly with the outlook and methodology of historical materialism and dialectical materialism theory;it is to strengthen the cognitive understanding of Chinese culture and achieve cultural consciousness;it insists to treat foreign cultures with the inclusive mind;it confronts the negative effects of negative cultural mentality;it is to construct the new culture of contemporary China,carry forward the national traditional culture actively,and cultivate the national culture emotion;it is to attach great importance to strengthen the cultivation of healthy youth culture mentality.
