Objective: In order to clarify the role of seaweed in the treatment of interstitial lung disease, through animal experiment modeling method to establish inter quality pulmonary disease rat model, from the observation of pathological section, mechanism of oxidative stress, gene expression and cytokines, multi angle study on the mechanism of the effect of seaweed on interstitial lung disease in rats. Methods: According to the requirements of the task, select the seaweed as the research object of this study. Animal experiment:This experiment chooses the SPF level male Wistar 60 rats. After adaptive feeding 7days, randomly divided into 6 groups: The blank group, model group and high concentration of seaweed group, middle concentration of seaweed group, low concentration of seaweed group, pirfenidone group. After adaptive feeding 3 days, we use the method of intratracheal bleomycin to establish interstitial lung disease rat model and give the corresponding drug intragastric administration. The rats were sacrificed at twenty-eighth days, the pathological changes in lung tissue of rats in each group were observed under light microscope. ELISA method was used to detect the expression of VEGF and TGF-β1 in lung homogenate of rats in each group. The content of SOD, MDA and GSH in lung homogenate of rats in each group was detected by chemical fluorescence method. Results and Conclusion: The results of animal experiments showed that After application of seaweed extract the detection, the detection indexes of the rats were improved compared with the model group, some indicators of treatment outcome related to dose of seaweed. The mechanism of action of seaweed for interstitial lung disease in rats may be related to the oxidative stress state, improving airway remodeling, inhibiting the neovascularization.
