| The decrement of driver’s vigilance is one of the important cause of traffic accidents.The study of the time varying rule and the intervention method of driving vigilance is helpful to further reveal the driving safety mechanism.Thus this paper focused on the method to improve the driver’s vigilance.A driving simulator test was designed to study the variation regularity of driver’s vigilance.In this test,the driver’s main task was to follow the front vehicle.The front vehicle would reduce its speed in long time or short time,the drivers should judge speed decrement of front car,and reported it when he think the time was long.Three groups of different excitation levels was designed,including: non-incentive,music incentive,information incentive.The driving simulation environment was constructed,and the driver’s judgment result was recorded.Besides,the driver’s physiological and psychological signal were detected and recorded on real-time by MP150 physiological recorder.A subjective fatigue measurement was filled before and after the driving to judge the driver’s fatigue state.Using the hits and misses to the signal,heart rate,alpha wave,beta wave and theta wave derived from the EEG and(alpha + theta)/beta ratio,which can give a good indication of the overall level of physiological vigilance,to analysis the driver’s vigilance changes,compare differences in driver’s vigilance under different excitation conditions,and analysis driver’s perceived fatigue scale.The experimental results showed that: in non-incentive,hit rate decreased from 84.7% to 65.2%,the driver’s heart rate began to decline significantly when the drive time was at 80-100 min,alpha and theta power increases,beta wave power decreases and(alpha and theta)/beta ratio is gradual increasing with the time.In music incentive,hits rate has remained at around 75%,the heart rate decline significantly in the last 20 min,alpha,beta and theta power and(theta and alpha)/ beta changes are relatively stable.In information incentive,the hits rate is maximum in three different condition.However,the hits rate is fluctuation and its value increased first and then decreased,the maximum reached 88.9%,the lowest reach 80.6% at the end of the experiment.There is significant difference in heart rate in 60-80 min compared to the initial value,but no significant difference in 80-100 min when the information prompts appeared,after the prompts,the heart rate also showed significant difference.Alpha,beta and theta power variation less than no motivation.The ratio(theta and alpha)/ beta fluctuated,and decrement significantly in the time when the information come up.The above results showed that the driver’s vigilance showing a trend of gradual decline with continuation of time Music can make driver’s overall vigilance level increased slightly and remained relatively stable.Information prompts is helpful for drivers to detect the operation risk signal,and to improve the traffic safety.The above results showed that the driver’s vigilance showing a trend of gradual decline with continuation of time Music can make driver’s overall vigilance level increased slightly and remained relatively stable.Information prompts is helpful for drivers to detect the risk signal,and to improve the traffic safety. |
