Vehicle handling stability has always been an important research direction of the vehicle performance,It provides a basis for the development of the subject and research. In this paper, the stability and stability of the whole vehicle is analyzed and studied in detail with analysis and matching of the chassis dynamics of a SUV model. In view of the lack of subjective and objective evaluation in the first-round adjustment of the prototype car,the suspension and the whole vehicle dynamics model are built. In order to find the difference between the car and the target car, simulation of vehicle handling stability is needed. We must try to analyzing the influencing factors and optimize them, and ultimately improve the handling stability of the car to a certain extent. The main contents of this paper include:Through the actual project found in the prototype of the lack of stability in the operation, the SUV is modeled by virtual simulation.,Built a front and rear suspension and vehicle dynamics model. The model was validated by K & C test bed,and use the built model to carry on the vehicle operation stability simulation analysis, extract key indicators,we found that the non-steering degree of the car and the yaw rate response to the target car there is a gap.Through the decomposition of the understeer and the yaw rate response, the relevant influencing factors are obtained.Using Isight software to analyze the sensitivity of the influencing factors, get a greater impact on the factors. And optimized with Isight to obtain the optimized hard-point coordinates and bushing stiffness, modify the model according to the optimized value, and re-simulate.Compared with the simulation parameters before modification,it is found that the stability of the SUV has improved.Verify the optimization results,so as to provide some reference for the development of related vehicles.
