Research Of Chinese Whole-body Vibration Perception Thresholds

With the rapid development of Chinese economic business and the growing scale of the city,people’s requirements for better quality of the production and the living environment is increasing,the influence of vibration on the human body has been becoming a scientific issue that can not be ignored.Vibration destroyed the harmonious relationship between the man and the external environment,it has been classified as one of the seven international environment hazards.The whole-body vibration is a common type of vibration,it refers to the vibration that transfers to the whole body by the contact surfaces(such as seats,bed,floor and so on).The vibration can be caused by transportation,construction,industrial machinery,agricultural equipment,earthquakes and so on;it spreads to the nearby buildings by the earth and building structures.If the human body is exposed to the vibration,people will be uncomfortable,work efficiency reduced or even physical health damaged.Therefore,it is very meaningful to study how to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the whole-body vibration perception.This paper summarizes the research status and corresponding standards of the whole-body vibration perception threshold,and introduces the existing methods and physical quantities to evaluate the whole-body vibration,and points out the existing methods of evaluating the wholebody vibration perception are limited.In this paper,38 Chinese subjects were selected to determine the whole-body perception thresholds of sitting,lying and standing postures.The corresponding frequency-threshold curves were obtained,and the Chinese people’s perception threshold with different gestures,gender,age,height,weight,occupation and education were analyzed.This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the previous foreign literature,the current standards and the experimental results.Although the foreign study of the whole-body vibration perception threshold is carried out earlier,but the domestic research on this aspect is basically blank.This paper studies the influencing factors of the Chinese people’s whole-body vibration perception threshold.It will provide some theoretical basis for guiding the domestic engineering practice and the standard revision.
