| Being a continuous transport equipment, belt conveyor is very easy to bring out all kinds of faults under the long time load operation process. Therefore, in order to grasp the operation status of the belt conveyor, and find faults timely in the operation, the inspection of the belt conveyor is very meaningful. It has great significance and practical application value to safe operation of the belt conveyor and the improvement of enterprise benefits by developing belt conveyor automatic inspection system.Based on the analysis of the basic structure, working process and failure types of the belt conveyor, this paper designs the overall structure of an automatic inspection device. The device adopts the rail way inspection from the belt machine head to tail. The operation parameters of belt conveyor and environmental data are collected by different types of sensors carried on the device. Build a wireless network covering the whole inspection line, and the collected data is transmitted to IPC by Wifi.In the working process of belt conveyor, the longitudinal tearing fault occurs occasionally and it is very difficult to be detected in time. According to the images collected by inspection device, a machine vision inspection method for longitudinal rip of the belt conveyor based on line laser is proposed. This method is to project line laser on the material of belt conveyor, the line laser stripe is modulated by the shape of materiel on the belt conveyor. The shape of material is changed while the longitudinal rip of the belt conveyor appeared; the line laser stripe on the surface of the material is also changed. Through processing the image collected by the inspection device, the fault diagnosis of the longitudinal rip of the conveyor belt can be realized.The longitudinal rip detection experimental system can realize image model conversion, image segmentation, binarization, image thinning and deburring, fitting of single pixel curve. Thourgh the derivation of the best fitting function to obtain the numbers of extreme points as a diagnostic criterion and the experimental result shows that the method is correct.In order to make the centralized control center grasps the operation status of the belt conveyor in time, the monitoring system of the belt conveyor is developed to process and display the data from the slave computer. These data mainly come from two parts, one part of the data transmitted through the Wifi of inspection device, the other part of the data from the sensor node installed on the belt conveyor through PLC. Through the analysis and processing of these data by system, the related parameters and operating conditions are directly displayed, which can fully reflect the state of automatic inspection and the running state of the belt conveyor. |
